Aberdeenshire League kicked off tonight with wins for Fraserburgh, Turriff Utd, Peterhead and Inverurie Loco Works.
Buckie Thistle and Keith shared the spoils with 2 goals apiece.
Deveronvale and Cove Rangers shared an 8 goal thriller. Aberdeen University whom have entered the competition for the first time went down to Peterhead 3 - 1 at home.
So after the first round of matches Fraserburgh sit top of the table on goal difference.
The next round of fixtures are scheduled for Monday 27th September.
