The season finally got underway tonight with Fraserburgh entertaining Formartine Utd at Bellslea.
With last nights first round tie between Banks O Dee v Huntly being postponed due to a waterlogged pitch the competition is now running behind.
It was a fairly entertaining first half with Formartine Utd taking the lead only to see Fraserburgh level the match just before half time.
The only goal in the second half was scored by formartine Utd which means they have set themselves up for a clash with Aberdeen next Monday.
