In the two cup ties played tonight all four teams did enough to keep the fans warm on a cold windy night.
The first round tie between Highland League leaders Cove Rangers and SFL Peterhead went all the way to penalty kicks.
Peterhead went into the interval 1-0 in front The match ended 2-2 and Cove progressed to meet Turriff Utd at home in the quarter final by winning the shoot out 5-4.
In the quater final tie between Fraserburgh and Buckie Thistle it finished Fraserburgh 3 Bickie Thistle 1. Buckie Thistle also had Gary Clark sent off in the second half.
Fraserburgh will now be away next Wednesday to the winner of the Huntly v Inverurie Loco Works tie.
